Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of GymGlance. Read carefully — by using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service overview
GymGlance provides gym registration/discovery, member management, QR-based attendance, role-based access control, payment tracking, analytics, announcements, leaderboards and multi-device support. Features may be added, changed or removed.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Do not share credentials to enable unauthorized access.
3. Gym owners' obligations
If you register a gym you represent you have authority to collect and manage member information, publish rules and receive payments. Owners must comply with applicable laws, obtain required consents from members, and have rights to any content (images, logos, text) they upload.
4. Member conduct
Members must not harass, impersonate, defraud, post unlawful content, bypass access controls, or otherwise interfere with the Service or other users. Gym owners may suspend or remove members who violate gym rules or these Terms.
5. QR codes & device usage
QR codes are provided for attendance and identification. You agree not to tamper with, replicate, or misuse QR codes. Multi-device access is allowed per account but sharing credentials to permit unauthorized use is prohibited.
6. Payments & billing
Paid features (if offered) are described at purchase. Payments are processed by third-party providers; GymGlance stores only transactional metadata and receipts. Refunds, if any, follow the published billing policy.
7. Content & community features
Announcements, leaderboards and other community features may display user-generated content. You retain ownership of content you post but grant GymGlance a license to host and display it as part of the Service. GymGlance may remove content that violates these Terms or is unlawful.
8. Third-party services
The Service may integrate third-party services (analytics, payment processors, push notifications). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies; GymGlance is not responsible for third-party practices.
9. Privacy
Collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to that processing in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
GymGlance and its licensors retain all rights to trademarks, designs, software and content. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without prior permission.
11. DMCA & copyright
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without permission, provide a DMCA notice to GymGlance's designated agent. GymGlance will respond in accordance with applicable law.
12. Security
GymGlance uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. No system is completely secure; notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a breach.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GymGlance and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. GymGlance's aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid GymGlance in the prior 12 months, or $100 if you have not paid.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GymGlance and its affiliates harmless from claims, losses, liabilities or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
15. Termination
GymGlance may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for security reasons. You may close your account at any time; certain data may be retained to comply with legal obligations or legitimate business purposes.
16. Changes to Terms
GymGlance may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
17. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law. You agree to attempt informal resolution with support prior to initiating formal proceedings where practical.
